When you think cloud hosting, your mind probably jumps to a small number of giant American companies. We’re proud to be a bit smaller, and a bit more local. When you host with us, you host on Australian servers with a support team that really cares about you.

We’re headquartered in New Zealand with servers in Sydney and Auckland. We’ve been in this business for over 21 years, so we know how to deliver everything you need at a fair price, without complications.

We are proactive. Making sure our systems are reliable and you are fully supported is our top priority. We always monitor our servers and stay up to date with improvements to make sure your applications are always up. This means issues are often fixed before you are aware there is a problem. That's how we can promise 99.9% uptime, at least.

Our history

So how did we get here?

A lot has happened since we were founded in 2000, but the mission stays the same.

It has been quite the journey! MyHost was established in 2000 as a no fuss, one stop shop for website hosting and domains. It was about finding the right mix of affordable and reliable.

In 2009 we became part of SiteTech Group who are the largest NZ-owned hosting provider, and we still are part of them today.

We have had a bit of a growth spurt recently. In 2021 we joined forces with WebSlice, which broadened our range of hosting options. The next year saw thousands of customers join MyHost as Vocus NZ exited the hosting and domains industry. Suddenly we were a few times bigger than we had been.

We’ve been quietly active in Australia for a number of years, and launched our Australian website in 2022.

While a lot has changed over the past 22 years, one thing is constant - supporting and providing you with the best web hosting that we can.
